As the holidays are now drawing to a close and a new academic year is just around the corner, it’s time to take advantage of the last few days of Summer. With a variety of games, excursions and team challenges, children will have every chance of earning one of three ‘High-Five’ certificates, showing their growth and dedication to the Richer Adventures core values.
During the week, each day will have a High-Five Focus, which children should keep in mind during activities in order to earn themselves one of three ‘High-Five’ certificates at the end of the week celebrating their growth and dedication to the Richer Adventures core values.
Team skiing has for a long time been extremely entertaining to watch, especially if children don't take the time to discuss a proper strategy. Ultimately it is a great team building experience and that team spirit will come in handy when a little encouragement is needed during a game of capture the flag.
High-five focus: Communication and Timing
Today your child will need to work together in small groups to build themselves a car, of course there are one or two catches. All in all this is a great exercise allowing children to be creative and experiment with different ideas and designs. Later during the day they can take that creativity to the skies at Flipout trampoline park.
High-five focus: Listening and Resilience
As a new addition to our programme, Archery tag is a fantastic way for children to immerse themselves into an imaginary world of fun. By using lighter, cushioned arrows the game is safe for all as well as being extremely exciting.
High-five focus: Teamwork and Communication
Today your child will learn about sound waves and acoustics before putting their knowledge into practice in a session of Djembe drumming. In the afternoon, we are very fortunate to have a professional actor joining us to give the children some tips as well as guiding them through a number of drama games and activities.
High-five focus: Creativity and Confidence
Today we are very excited to be going on our first ever mountain biking excursion and it promises to be lots of fun!
High-five focus: Endurance and Focus
